Safety
At Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI), we take driver safety very seriously.
Our trucks come equipped with many safety features and our drivers are consistently ranked amongst the safest in the world according to Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) scores. Every driver, regardless of experience level, goes through a thorough and multi-week training program to ensure they are prepared to safely take the wheel.
Our Training
Every DTI driver, regardless of previous experience level, is required to complete a comprehensive training program consisting of in-classroom learning and over-the-road instruction alongside a certified driver trainer.
Generally this training lasts between four and 10 weeks with experienced drivers typically on the shorter end of that scale. During this time, trainees are paid a weekly stipend and meals are covered both in the classroom and on the road.
As a DTI driver, you won’t be sent out on your own until you and your trainer agree that you are ready.
